Assessors are trained to facilitate a supportive and educational process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4fd2dadf0101a82228776a2d78939137\" style=\"color:#1e22aa\"><strong>Review Selection<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Registrants may be selected to participate in a PAR by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Random or stratified random sampling;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failing to participate in Self-Assessment and submit a <em>Declaration of Completion; or<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Targeted selection to follow up on concerns identified during a previous audit or assessment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2e9fdf165ae899d8a7c57fb6db5b6149\" style=\"color:#1e22aa\"><strong>Review Domains<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Reviews may be conducted in-person or virtually and will include a structured interview, which covers up to 7 domains based upon a registrant\u2019s professional services and activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Practice Setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional Services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ethical Conduct<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indirect Service Provision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Record Keeping<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>File Review<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-Assessment and Continuing Professional Development<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-69124e878b0b09fdcc6dce34a90ccae6\" style=\"color:#1e22aa\"><strong><strong>After the Review<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the review meeting, the Assessor will submit a written report to CPBAO with an opinion on whether the registrant meets professional standards across the relevant domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Reviewee will also receive a copy of the report and may prepare a written submission in response, for consideration by the QA Committee.
