The nature of service in relation to these matters is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-44.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11442\" width=\"700\" height=\"314\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timeline Snapshot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are currently 117 open Complaints and Registrar\u2019s Investigations under active investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-45.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11444\" width=\"584\" height=\"263\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-45.png 816w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-45-800x360.png 800w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-45-768x345.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ICRC Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ICRC met five times in the second quarter and considered a total of 45 cases. Eighteen teleconferences were also held to consider 24 cases. &nbsp;&nbsp;An ICRC plenary session was held on October 29, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ICRC Dispositions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ICRC disposed of 11 cases during the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Quarter, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-46.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11446\" width=\"643\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-46.png 992w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-46-800x281.png 800w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-46-768x269.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 643px) 100vw, 643px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">*F&amp;V: Frivolous, vexatious, made in bad faith, moot or otherwise an abuse of process, pursuant to s.26(4) of the Health Professions Procedural Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dispositions of these 11 cases, as they relate to nature of service, are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-47.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11448\" width=\"695\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-47.png 975w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-47-800x308.png 800w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-47-768x295.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 695px) 100vw, 695px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disposition of Allegations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 11 cases disposed of included the consideration of 35 allegations. The ICRC took remedial action with respect to 9 (26%) of these allegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-48.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11450\" width=\"594\" height=\"356\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Health Professions Appeal and Review Board (HPARB)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Quarter, four HPARB reviews of ICRC decisions were requested.
