The number of cases of 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Canada is increasing and it is anticipated this will continue for some time. The College recognizes that decisions regarding client care should be left to the professional judgment of members based on the day to day risk levels published by the experts and the specific needs of both members and clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With regard to client services members are encouraged to consider the following measures at this time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During this time members may wish to consider whether there are telepsychology options which may be more appropriate for you and your clients. The College cannot recommend or endorse any particular tele\/videoconferencing service. Members should ensure that, to protect the transmission of personal health information, the chosen service provides end to end encryption and complies with Ontario privacy legislation requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
