The nature of service in relation to these matters is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"995\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-86.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-86.png 995w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-86-800x362.png 800w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-86-768x347.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 995px) 100vw, 995px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Timeline Snapshot<br>There are currently 139 open Complaints and Registrar\u2019s Investigations that are being actively investigated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"761\" height=\"417\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-87.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14246\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>ICRC Meetings<br>The ICRC met on March 16, April 20, and May 17, 2023, to consider a total of 17 cases. In addition, the ICRC held 9 teleconferences to consider 17 cases. The next ICRC meeting is scheduled for June 12, 2023, with 9 cases on that agenda. An ICRC Plenary meeting was held on May 12, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICRC Dispostions<br>The ICRC disposed of 27 cases during the 4<sup>th<\/sup> Quarter. The ICRC took some remedial action, ranging from providing Advice to a referral to the Discipline Committee, in 8, or 30%, of these cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1006\" height=\"437\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-88.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-88.png 1006w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-88-800x348.png 800w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-88-768x334.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1006px) 100vw, 1006px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2020F&amp;V: Frivolous, vexatious, made in bad faith, moot or otherwise an abuse of process, pursuant to s.26(4) of the Health Professions Procedural Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dispositions of these 27 cases, as they relate to nature of service, are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92.png 1000w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92-800x396.png 800w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92-768x380.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dispositions of Allegations<br>The 27 cases disposed of included the consideration of 85 allegations. The ICRC took some remedial action with respect to 24, or 28%, of these allegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-94.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14260\" width=\"840\" height=\"555\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-94.png 1017w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-94-800x529.png 800w, https:\/\/cpbao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-94-768x507.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Professions Appeal &amp; Review Board <br>In the 4<sup>th<\/sup> Quarter, one HPARB review of ICRC decisions was requested.
