On July 1, 2024, the province of Ontario reached a significant milestone as the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø and Applied Behaviour Analysis Act, 2021 <\/em>was proclaimed into law. The Act<\/em> signifies a culmination of efforts towards ensuring greater access to ABA services and the assurance of safe, quality care for the public. The proclamation of the Act <\/em>reflects years of collaboration between the College, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In tandem with proclamation of the Act<\/em>, the College changed its name to the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. The College\u2019s website can now be found here: www.cpbao.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The College is pleased to welcome the 1300+ Behaviour Analysts that preregistered. The College continues to receive applications for Transitional Routes 1 and 2, which will remain open until June 30, 2026. The Entry Level Route (Supervised Practice) will open soon (Date TBD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants can visit the FAQ<\/a> and How to Apply: ABA<\/a> pages of the College\u2019s website for further information about becoming registered as a Behaviour Analyst in Ontario. Please refer to the Registration Guidelines for information specific to each route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application portal can now be found here: https:\/\/applications.cpbao.ca<\/a>. Psychologists and Psychological Associates who are members of the College will access the application portal via their existing member account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
