The College is looking for members who are interested in being appointed to serve on College Committees beginning in June 2025. The Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991<\/em>, requires the College to have seven Statutory Committees: Executive; Registration; Inquiries, Complaints and Reports; Discipline; Fitness to Practice; Quality Assurance; and Client Relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Involvement on College Committees provides members with an opportunity to take an active role in the self-regulation of the profession. Selection of members is based upon the current needs of each Committee ensuring a mix of experienced and new members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A brief description of each Committee’s composition, role, and functions as well as anticipated time commitment, may be found on the College website at: Call for Interest in Participating on College Committees.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All membership titles, Psychologist, Psychological Associate and Behaviour Analysts are represented on every Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through its Council and Committees, the College endeavours to reflect the diversity of the Ontario public served by Psychologists, Psychological Associates, and Behaviour Analysts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HOW DO I APPLY?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members who are interested in serving on a Committee are asked to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Complete the Committee Orientation Module<\/a>; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Submit online application form<\/a> indicating their preferred Committee (1st and 2nd choices may be given).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    SUBMISSION DEADLINE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Forms must be submitted by Friday<\/strong>, May 9, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Members are also asked to provide a brief statement outlining their background and interest as well as relevant qualifications for the Committees selected. Committee appointments are valid for a one-year term ending before the June Council meeting of the succeeding year, June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
