Some years ago, I was introduced to the work of the College of Psychologists of Ontario by a colleague who thought that I may value acting as an oral examiner.
Mr. Graeme Goebelle, a public member serving on the College Council, passed away on December 12, 2021
The College of Psychologists of Ontario is actively working towards welcoming Behaviour Analysts to what will be the new 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø.
The College remains committed to ensuring Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) throughout the College and its regulatory processes and in promoting EDI in the profession, as a whole.
The College is inviting comments on proposed amendments to the College By-laws:
By-law 5: Selection of Committee Chairs and Committee Members and By-law 20: Election to Council, Qualifications, Terms of Office, and Conditions for Disqualification.Â
Working within the statutory requirements established for all Health Regulatory Colleges in Ontario; the College views its Quality Assurance Programs as a means of supporting members in maintaining their knowledge and skills throughout their careers.
The Practice Advice Service provides information to College members and members of the public regarding relevant Legislation, Regulations, Standards of Professional Conduct, 2017, and other Guidelines.
In 2019, the College’s Registration Committee (the Committee) undertook an extensive review of the Guidelines for Completing the Declaration of Competence and the Guidelines for Training Plans for Supervised Practice Members.Â
The College Council met virtually on December 17, 2021.
The College would like to thank the following who acted as Oral Examiners in December 2021.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Council elections to be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
